ABOUT US:

Founded in 1978 by the late Jim Crisp and his wife Cindy, Camden Plumbing Company, INC. is now in our 42nd year of doing business in Kershaw County and the surrounding area. Still proudly family owned and operated, we are also a second and third generation company. Jim and Cindy's son-in-law, Phil Kambeitz, is now the licensed and lead professional plumber. Phil and wife Charity Crisp Kambeitz along with Cindy and all of the employees at Camden Plumbing Co., INC. still strive to provide the professional, friendly, and outstanding customer service that Jim so proudly instilled in all of his employees.

Meet the Crew:

Cindy "Nana" Crisp: Owner and Matriarch of the company.

Cindy is a proud Nana to 10 grandchildren. She continues to help run the business when not doing something with or for one of the grandchildren.

Phil Kambeitz: Vice President and Lead Plumber

Phil started with Camden Plumbing in 1992 as a part-time employee before graduating from high school. He then worked as a full-time employee for a while before becoming a full-time firefighter. On his days off from the fire department, Phil continued to help Jim throughout the years. When Jim passed away in 2009 Phil became a licensed plumber helping run the company while continuing to work full-time with the fire department. Phil put in 24 years of service with the fire department. He retired as a Fire Chief in 2017 and now focuses on the company full-time. Phil married into the family when he and Charity married in 1998. They have 6 beautiful children.

Charity Crisp Kambeitz: Vice President and Office Manager

Charity is the oldest of Jim and Cindy's two daughters. Charity graduated from Coker College with a degree in Elementary Education in May of 1997. She began her teaching career in August of 1997. Charity and Phil married in January of 1998. Charity taught in the public-school system for six years before becoming a stay-at-home wife and Mama in 2003. Charity and Phil have 6 children. Currently she homeschools some of them and helps Cindy manage the office work.

Matt Anderson: Lead Supervisor

Matt, Lead Supervisor, joined the Camden Plumbing family in 2008 not long after graduating from high school making plumbing his career. Matt is more family than an employee. Sometimes you can find one of Matt's children with him learning the ropes. We are proud to have Matt, his wife, Christine, and their three children as part of the CPC family.

Duncan Gillis: Plumber

Duncan became a full-time employee in 2018 after attending Clemson University. We would say that he joined the family, but Duncan was born family. As one of our cousins, Duncan took an interest in the business while still in High School and worked part-time while in college. We are proud to have him as an employee.

Kyle Kambeitz: Plumber

Kyle officially joined Camden Plumbing as an employee in 2018 but has been learning plumbing since he was old enough to ride in the truck and "work" with his Papa and his Daddy. His Papa always said he thought Kyle would eventually be the one to continue the family business. We are proud of him as our son and to have him as an employee and a third generation of this business.
